It literally means Fried Noodles, but without all the fuss. Indomie comes in many different varieties, the most popular is Mi Goreng. Fresh yellow noodles are the most popular choice, followed by the dried instant noodles.



Normally, instant ramen tries to emulate home-cooked dishes but in this instance, I’m trying to emulate my favourite brand of ramen noodles – Indomie Mi Goreng, which delightfully to have earned a pretty good ranking from the Ramen Rater. Simply cook the noodles, drain and then add all the seasonings in.

Mee Goreng is completely different from the Chinese noodles like Chow Mien, and the Malaysian Char Kuey Teow, due to the different set of ingredients and spices.
