This guide is about saving an overheated plant. I had my seedlings in rockwool cubes that were open to the air. All are like 3 inchestall. I then go in one day and one of 4 is limp and starting to fall over.
A plant can become wilted and slumped over its pot, after being put in too warm of a location. I've covered some seed trays with clingfilm, and as soon as the seedlings (leeks) broke through the compost surface, I removed it.
My seedlings start fine and then die in a couple of weeks. Ok everybody so this is my first attempt at growing and I'm already screwing it up somehow. Its day 5 and I'm using a highoutput t5 FLs and I got them as close as i can get them to the light for uninterrupted 24hrs of light.
I watered them, but they dried out very quick.
The last one is going limp right now.
Top O the Morning, Got a problem here. Then a few days later another... then another. The hardening-off process is simple, though it can be time-consuming; it involves exposing your plants to the elements gradually. I woke up to find my seedling completely slumped over. Does this mean they are done for? When your seedlings are about ready to go outside, you need to prepare them for the transition by hardening off.
