How to wear grips? Most of you wear them wrong. You tear your hands because you put the grips on wrong, do too many reps in a WOD, or have bad technique (but like I said that is another post). You should also always have a back up pair of broken in grips during competitions, in case one pair breaks.

Gymnastics grips designed for functional fitness should have enough length, or slack, to create a fold of material between the bar and your fingers (as pictured below). Break them in by doing simple skills, or swinging on the bars.

The grips have to be bigger and should not fit tight to your palm.
