We were thinking that it would be good in a seafood cannelloni or enchilada but I don't know … Boil the mixed seafood for about three minutes after the shells open. Pour the mixed seafood in the sauce or boiling water. Personally, I prefer to defrost and then pan fry to cook through instead of just dropping the seafood mix into soup. In addition, I bought frozen, shell-off shrimp at Kroger and used the tilapia I had in the freezer from Costco. Check the seafood throughout the cooking time. Unfortunately we don't love it. I made it the first time with spaghetti and a marinara. Bring sauce or water to a boil in a saucepan on medium heat. This gives me better control and lets me season it separately. We bought the frozen seafood mix at Sam's Club hoping it would be great. Place a lid on the pot and boil the mixed seafood for about eight minutes total. You can also start the frozen mix in the cold pan and let it defrost as the pan heats up. I used Trader Joe’s Frozen Seafood mix, which is a combination of shrimp, scallops and calamari.
